Legal Aid:Simple Divorce
Sylva -- In partnership with Legal Aid of North Carolina, the Jackson County Public Library in downtown Sylva is serving as one of many host sites state-wide for free do-it-yourself legal clinics on a variety of topics.
The clinic will be devoted to Simple Divorce and will take place at the Jackson County Public Library on Thursday, March 15th at 2:30. Attendees come to the library to participate in the interactive video clinic. Each session shows participants how to fill out the necessary forms, which are provided, and what to expect from the process. Attendees also have a chance to ask general questions of the attorney conducting the clinic from the Legal Aid office in Raleigh.
The clinic is free, but registration is required. Participants can register online for themselves at www.legalaidnc.org. Attendees should come to the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the library by 2:15 in order to participate in the clinic.
