Originally from Southern California, I relocated to the East Coast to explore the Mid-Atlantic and the South. I attended
James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where I received a B.S. in Sociology and later earned my license in
esthetics from the Virginia Institute of Esthetics in Virginia Beach. I am also licensed in massage and bodywork therapy
from the Center for Massage and Natural Health and became a community herbalist from The Blue Ridge School of Herbal
Medicine here in beautiful Western North Carolina.
I specialize in stress-management & holistic healing through the release of muscular tension,
Reiki energy work, plant medicine and customized at-home regiments to restore balance to
the skin and create a stronger mind-body connection. I believe personal growth and healing
is a journey and my purpose is to help people feel supported on this journey, smoothing over
some of the rough patches along the way.
I am very excited to bring you this information! These Appalachian Mountains are a
temperate rainforest with a multitude of plant life and a rich, diverse eco system. With so
much diversity to work with, we have the power to make our own medicine and be more
healthy and vital with plants and herbs. Whether you are new to herbal medicine, an
experienced gardener, or learned plant medicine from your grandmother, this class will have
something to interest you. I hope to give you the confidence to create your own tonics to keep
you healthy and feeling your best. This is a hands on class! Becoming familiar with medicinal
herbs uses all your senses and develops your intuition to what your unique body needs.
I look forward to meeting you!
