Information Technology Technician

Jackson County Public Library

  • Starting Salary: $11.00 per hour
Jackson County Public Library seeks a 40 hour per week Information Technology Technician. Responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and installation of PCs and peripheral devices. This position also configures and operates library software, assists staff and patrons in the use of library equipment and computer resources, and other duties that may arise in daily library operations. Evening and weekend hours are required. Applicants must possess computer technology or electronics course work and one year’s experience in the diagnosis and repair of computer hardware and software problems. Public service experience and high school diploma or GED is mandatory. Preference will be given to those with previous library experience. Salary is $11.00 per hour.
