Computer Class Searching for a Job Online

 Jackson County Public Library will offer a free class called Searching For Jobs Online on Wednesday, March 15th at 5:55 p.m. This class is free of charge.
In this class, participants will learn how to search for jobs in the area. The class will cover NCWorks, and Craigslist as online job search engines.  The class will also cover how to navigate directly to an employer’s website and the process of applying for a job.
 Participants will need to have basic computer skills, such as typing and the ability to use the mouse, to be successful in this class.
The class will be led by volunteer Cynthia Gallinger with assistance from Library staff member Laura Chapman and Tim Tweed.
Class size is limited to the first 16 people who sign up. To do so, or for more information, please call the Jackson County Public Library at 586-2016.
