Sylva-- The Jackson County Public Library is hosting a Women's Positivity Group on April 20th at 6 PM. The group will be facilitated by Valerie Harrison. This program is free of charge.
This is a new group composed hopefully of a diverse population of women 18 and up. It will be a safe environment to share various situations in our lives at home, school, or work, in a confidential and positive setting. Participants will be offered some proven techniques to consider for more balance in their life and how to handle difficult matters and/or people.  All ideas will be listened to, valued, and discussed. Questions or comments will be welcomed and will be discussed in a free flowing conversation. All are welcome to participate as they feel comfortable.
Some of the topics of the group will be: a safe place to share & brainstorm positive ideas, learn how to act and not react in the face of manipulation, discover & master the importance of positivity & a higher quality of life, and recognize the destruction of negativity around us.
