Walking with Spring: Mainspring Naturalist Walk

This is part on an ongoing, monthly series with a naturalist from Mainspring leading a walk on the trails and Greenway adjacent to the library- meet in the fireplace area for a short intro, then we'll head out for a gentle, mile or so walk to see what's happening in our big backyard!
On the first Thursday of the month, take a casual 1 mile stroll with a naturalist! Join Skye Cahoon, Mainspring's Conservation Outreach Associate, as we amble through a meadow, along Cartoogechaye Creek, and in a mixed oak forest, learning about and appreciating our wild neighbors along the way. We’ll notice how this space changes with the seasons, and answer any questions you have about the outdoors. Some of the topics we have discussed in the past include tree ID, edible plants, lichens, and invasive plants!
