LSTA grants provide support for public computers and internet access, children’s tablets and learning equipment. They help libraries afford the necessary equipment that libraries need to run. You know the online catalog you search? Yup, LSTA helps pay for that. Need a new building plan? That’s LSTA, too. You want and need the best and brightest technology and LSTA helps us provide that.
Let our legislators know that you support the LSTA program and they should too. Ask them to sign their name to the support letters for LSTA and IAL. The Appropriations Committee will use these support letters to gauge initial support of their Senate and House members, so getting our elected official to sign their name is extremely important! We want to flood their offices with our support. Give them a call today! Our deadline is THIS Thursday, March 17!
