The Contagious Poets and Me--A new immigrant there I wandered, curious -in the Land of Blogging, a poet, I found -and yet more, ‘til -a community of poets!--On daily reading them, -I took to leaving comments -some flowing out as poems -like a message in a bottle on the waves -or greeting card in the mail slot -sprayed graffiti on a wall ---‘Til one poet replied; This is poetry!worthy to stand in their own right to -become a book ---I’d never imagined as separate art -but with that friendly guide and goad -I gathered them, stumbled, learned -now in your hands you hold that book -because poets are a contagious tribe
