On a moonlit summer night, twin sisters Mabel & Louise sneak out of their vacation cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains to find themselves face to face with a black bear lured by the tempting aroma of French fries Mabel left on the picnic table. With help from their parents and biologist Kevin, the two learn a lesson they will never forget and set out to teach others about how to keep black bears wild by ensuring they never have access to human food. - provided by publisher
