A plain vanilla murder

At the same time China Bayles and Ruby Wilcox are offering their popular "Not Just Plain Vanilla" workshop a local botany professor and expert on the vanilla orchid is found dead in an apparent suicide. When his death becomes a murder investigation however suspicion falls on his ex-wife and China's friend Maggie. But there are more suspects and motives than the obvious: it could be revenge desire for an exotic flower and its costly delectable fruit or even a bizarre black-market orchid-smuggling scheme gone awry.
