"While Emma Sharpe and her husband, Colin Donovan, are in Maine, Colin tags along with a marine patrol officer checking on suspected food poisoning victims on a yacht. Colin recognizes one of the victims as an undercover British intelligence officer, which puts a sinister twist on the situation. A valuable painting by Irish artist Aoife O'Byrne -- a friend of Emma and Colin's -- is also missing from the yacht.
