1886. When Beatrix Waterbury's mother banishes her from New York for her involvement with the suffrage movement, she's off to Chicago to stay with her Aunt Gladys. Scientist Norman Nesbit is thrust into Beatrix's company when robbers attempt to steal his research papers during a robbery on the train.
