Missouri, 1870s: Margaret ""Peggy"" Thomas watched helplessly as her husband, James, was gunned down in front of her. After days, weeks and then years of mourning, a telegram arrives, announcing the upcoming trial in Arizona of one of the men responsible for James' death. Determined to face her husband's killer, she embarks on the long and difficult journey to Arizona to testify. Along the way, Margaret is joined by a free-spirited gypsy and a diminutive moonshiner. Together they will face the violence of the Old West, but only Margaret will be able to answer the question that's plagued her from the beginning: Is she seeking justice or revenge?
