On Monday, August 21, 2017, North America enjoyed the thrill of a total eclipse of the sun. Its path stretched from the West coast to the East coast, and became known as, "The Great American Eclipse". Macon County North Carolina was in the "path of Totality" and at 2:36 pm, the moonpassed in front of the sun for an amazing 2 minutes and 30 seconds. As totality struck Franklin, I was reminded that only God, who made the sun, moon, and stars, in all of His magnificence, could arrange for this celestial happening. This book covers eclipse preparations made to recieve the anticipated influx of eclipse viewers and also, what happened during and after the Eclipse. It is a collection of pictures, graphics and first-hand eclipse memories that will help paint a well-rounded picture of how "We Survived the Eclipse"--back cover
