Chris is driving through West Virginia. He takes a detour down an old dirt road, where he becomes distracted and doesn't see an SUV stuck in the middle of the road. He plows into the back after his tires suddenly blow. The driver of the SUV and Chris compare notes on their accidents, they discover that the road has been sabotaged with barbed wire. Two of the group are left to look after the cars while the others set out to find help. However, they soon discover they've become prey to a family of cannibalistic mountain men who have become horribly disfigured through generation of in-breeding.
