Sylva-- On Saturday, June 24th at 3 PM, the Jackson County Public Library is hosting the Executive Director of the Balsam Mountain Trust, Dr. Michael Wall. North Carolina is home to over 500 species of bees and only one of those is the European Honeybee. Learn about the other 98.2% of the bees, the flowers they pollinate, and how you can be bee-friendly to all brands of bees (and other pollinators).

Dr. Michael Wall is an entomologist that is now serving as the Executive Director of the Balsam Mountain Trust. He grew up in the Piedmont of the Carolinas but spent the last 16 years conducting research on bees and other insects at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
