Sylva-- On Tuesday, October 17 at 11 AM, the Jackson County Public Library is hosting Jenna Kranz from Uncomplicated Kitchen for a cooking class. Participants will use our Charlie Cart, a teaching kitchen on wheels, to cook a meal that costs under $10 to make. This month participants will learn how to customize the basic formula and the different accommodations for making salad dressings at home. Registration required by emailing JCPL-Adults@fontanalib.org or calling (828) 586-2016. This program is in the Community Room and is free of charge, however sign-up is required as space is limited.

This grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-252476-OLS-22).
