Sylva-- On Tuesday, April 4th at 11:00 AM, the Jackson County Public Library is hosting a Matzo Ball Soup demonstration. A cozy bowl of Matzo Ball Soup is a staple in many Jewish homes year round, but has particular significance during Passover. In this hands-on demonstration, participants will make, sample, and learn the significance of Matzo Ball Soup in Jewish culture. Registration required by emailing or calling (828) 586-2016. This program is in the Atrium and is free of charge, however sign-up is required as space is limited.

This program is part of the Kitchen Literacy Connection grant. This grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-252476-OLS-22).
