Adult Services Assistant I

Jackson County Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-oriented individual to work as
an Adult Services Assistant I.

Qualifications required for the Library Assistant I include a High School Diploma or GED. One year of
customer service experience is required. One year of library experience is recommended. The
successful candidate should have a commitment to quality customer service with excellent
communication skills. Strong technology skills and the ability to give attention to detail are a must.
Preference will be given to those with previous library experience.

The full-time position requires a flexible work schedule that will include nights and weekends. Salary
starts at $11.50 per hour plus benefits.
