Bartram's Travels along the Little Tennessee discussion

Earlier this month we'll have suggested readings available from William Bartram's book 'Travels', highlighting what he wrote about our Little Tennessee River Valley when he explored this area in the 1700's.

As a part of this Bartram series during the Smithsonian Water|Ways exhibit's time at the library we'll host a discussion/lecture/Q&A with conservationist, educator, author and historian Brent Martin on our patio garden and outer back yard area.  Bring your lawn chair!

As an incentive to join all or part of this series, one participant will win a guided kayak trip for two on the Little Tennessee River with Alarka Expeditions.
