Books & Bites: Mary Alice Monroe with Search for Treasure
Beloved author Mary Alice Monroe talks about her not-yet-released book for middle grade readers (and for anyone who loves a good tale). Three friends summering on Dewee Island are each struggling with family issues. But they are united in the search for treasure while they battle unwelcome guests -- both 2-legged and 4-legged!
Mary Alice Monroe is the bestselling author of 28 books, She is the co-creator and co-host of the weekly podcast Friends and Fiction featuring five best-selling authors with endless stories, special guests, and a way to connect readers and writers. Monroe is an active conservation-ist, and is especially proud to be a 20-year-plus state-certified volunteer with the Island Turtle Team, the group that first sparked her love for loggerhead sea turtles.
