Creating Communities - Leatherworking with Derek Morrow

Creating Communities is a monthly crafting program at the Jackson County Public Library. Each month we have a different local artist/artisan come into the Atrum at the library to teach us a simple craft. Together we will create a project from start to (mostly) finished in two hours. This month we arae welcoming back Derek Morrow from Morrow Leatherworks to show his fine leather skills. We will be learning a basic leather stitch that will be used to make a leather pouch. Choose your color thread and closure to make the pouch uniquely yours.

Space is limited so call the Ref Desk at the Jackson County Public Library to reserve your spot today, 586-2016. All Adult programming at the library is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library Bookstore.
