Creating Community: Making Rubber Stamps With Emma

Join us on Saturday, April 26th at 1 PM in the Atrium as Emma Swanson, from Western Carolina University’s Fine Arts Program guides the class in creating their own rubber stamps with various linocut techniques.
Emma Swanson (she/they) is a senior in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program at Western Carolina University (WCU). Emma is focusing on ceramics, specifically handbuilding. While Emma is passionate specifically about ceramics, they are well versed in a variety of mediums through their education at WCU. Emma’s long term goal is to be an arts professor, so she is excited to be teaching 'Creating Community: Making Rubber Stamps' at the Jackson County Public Library.
