Horace Kephart Writings: A Conversation with Mae Claxton and George Frizzell

Join us for a very special presentation on the work of Horace Kephart who has long been seen as one of the premier chroniclers of life in the western North Carolina stretch of the Great Smoky Mountains. Dr. Mae Claxton and George Frizzell will talk about Horace KephartWritings, a collection of Kephart's uncollected writings which they co-edited. They will also discuss Kephart's literary and historical legacy. No one who is interested in the cultural history of the Appalachian mountains will want to miss this talk!
