How Many Bears Can Live in this Forest?

Participants define and describe how limiting factors affect animal populations, through a game in which they act out bears in a forest looking for resources. Presented by Shelby Cook, Environmental Educator, Swain Soil & Water Conservation District.  Programs are all-ages and limited to 25 people.

Summer Learning Programs for children planned for this summer may include some restrictions. Registration may be required to limit attendance.  Because children are unable to be vaccinated at this time, they are encouraged to wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces.  Parents are urged to do what they feel is best to protect their children.
