Let’s Get Japaneseee: Onigiri Action 2025
The Jackson County Public Library will host the next Let’s Get Japaneseee in the Community Room on Tuesday, October 7th at 6pm. What will this month’s program be? We’re going to roll up our sleeves and make our very own onigiri—cute ones, funny ones, even kyara-onigiri (character rice balls)! Then we’ll pack them into a bento box and show off our creations with some awesome photos. But here’s the best part: when we upload our onigiri photos to the Onigiri Action 2025 website, each picture will turn into 5 warm meals for children in need around the world. So let’s have fun, get creative, and make the world a little brighter—one onigiri at a time! *Registration is required* To register click here or call the library at 828-586-2016. The Jackson County Public Library is a member of the Fontana Regional Library.
