Translating Your Transferable Skills
According to Mark Ware, NCWorks Career Advisor and workshop presenter, 'Often times, we either do not realize all the skills and knowledge gained as part of everyday work tasks or we do not know how to properly translate our skills into a resume when applying for a job. That's why we decided to host Translating Your Transferable Skills. In this workshop, we will discuss those unrecognized abilities and practice with real world examples of fitting them into 'Employer speak''
The free workshop is interactive and follow-up opportunities for resume development and review will be available at the Swain or Jackson County NCWorks Career Centers.
