Free School Lunches will be available at 11:00a.m.-11:30a.m. Monday through Friday from June 2nd-June 30th. It will be a first come first serve basis. School cafeteria staff will oversee the handing out of the lunches to children ages 0-18.
Kaiya Pickens, with the NC Cooperative Extension office, will present a class for children ages 8-12 educating on nutrition and activity and participants will make a healthy snack. Class will last for 45 minutes.
