It is time again for the Great Jackson County Read, the adult summer reading program from Jackson County Public Library. I don’t know about you but it couldn’t have come at a better time. Speaking of time, what is time? This year’s theme is... Time Traveler: Past, Present, and Future. Feel free to read any book that you choose, we will only be counting pages read this year, but maybe taking a stroll through time, either with true time traveling science fiction or a great historical novel is just what the doctor ordered.
This year we are encouraging you to sign up online using this link, https://forms.gle/MYFkb7C8Y4JjmESXA . If you need help please call the Jackson County Public Library at, 586-2016 and we can fill the form in for you. We will not be handing out a packet this year or book information sheets like we have in years past. To track your reading, use this form: https://forms.gle/tZPHFs2S44oSCgiW9 and don’t forget to let us know what you think of the books that you are reading.
Join our Great Jackson County Read facebook group to keep connected with what your neighbors are reading. Keep your eyes out for the Time Traveler newsletter and if enough people are interested we may even have a passive online book club!
If you need any help please contact the Reference desk at 586-2016
