Sylva-- On Wednesday, October 4 at 7:30 PM, the Jackson County Public Library is hosting Los Angeles pianist Michael Ragonese and his trio for the release of his second album, “Stracci”. Stracci, meaning "Rags" in Italian, is Michael's take on a self-titled album - paying tribute to his Italian heritage and childhood nickname, and featuring songs that incorporate his roots as a classical pianist. The trio features Anthony Fung on drums and Emilio Terranova on bass. This program is sponsored by the Western Carolina University School of Music. This program is in the Community Room and is free of charge.
