Sylva-- On Thursday, October 12 at 1:30 PM, the Jackson County Public Library is hosting a free mental health seminar facilitated by Vaya Health. This program is in the Conference Room and is free of charge but registration is required.

Antidepressants treat depression, but did you realize there are other uses for this medication? This course will examine the traditional use of antidepressant medications, potential side effects, and administration protocols. Off-label possibilities are also considered with a focus on the older population. Presented by Vaya Health’s Geriatric and Adult Mental Health Specialty Team. Registration is required. Please call the Library at (828) 586-2016 or email JCPL-Adults@fontanalib.org to register.
