The workshop is hosted by members of WCU’s Creative Writing Club and participants are encouraged to bring writing samples to share with the group and offer constructive feedback. Stop by this class on the first Thursday of each month from 3 to 5 PM in the Conference Room. Each month our class will be structured as a presentation/discussion with time for 1-on-1 tech assistance at the end of each class. This group is open to anyone with a smartphone, regardless of operating system.

Join Uncomplicated Kitchen at the Jackson County Public Library on Thursday, September 18th at 10:30am in the Atrium for the next meeting of our 'Chews' Your Own Adventure Program! September’s gathering will feature Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese. With Uncomplicated Kitchen, participants will learn how to make affordable and adaptable meals for the whole family. Stop by the Atrium for this session on summer noodles and learn to feed your whole crew. Feel free to bring your littles and middles as we embark on this 'Chews' Your Own Adventure' culinary experience. Join us for the next meeting of Coloring Confidants, a coloring club for adults, on Thursday, October 16th at 6 PM in the Conference Room. The Mayo Clinic states that coloring can help folks relieve stress, promote mindfulness and add enjoyment to their day. Supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own coloring sheets, pencils, markers, & more. Stop by to chat, color, and build a creative community!
