As pandemic  regulations are changing at the state and national level, Fontana Regional Library has also adjusted its policies to reflect that wearing a mask is strongly recommended  but not mandatory.  We encourage everyone coming into our buildings to wear a mask as a way to protect themselves and others.

Fontana Regional Library makes this change in light of Governor Cooper’s lifting  of mandatory capacity and gathering limits, social distancing requirements, and MOST masking requirements. The CDC and the Governor strongly recommend that people who are unvaccinated continue to wear a mask and maintain social distance in all indoor public settings.

Summer Learning Programs for children planned for this summer may include some restrictions. Registration may be required to limit attendance.  Because children are unable to be vaccinated at this time, they are encouraged to wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces.  Parents are urged to do what they feel is best to protect their children.

Library meeting spaces are now available for a variety of uses.  Please contact your local library to learn more about options for meetings, study and work spaces, and other group activities.
