Many people feel overwhelmed by the number of passwords they have to keep up with. It's hard to invent and remember these long strings of characters, but passwords that are easy to remember are often easy for hackers to crack.
This hands-on class will address the challenges and frustrations that come from having so many passwords and introduce ways to make passwords more secure AND more manageable. In this class, participants will:
- Evaluate their own password practices
- Learn how to create stronger passwords
- Learn about tools and strategies for managing passwords
The free class is limited to the first 16 people who register. To do so, or for more information, please call the Jackson County Public Library in Sylva at 586-2016. This class is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.
