The Mariana Black Library, in Bryson City, and the Swain Cooperative Extension presents “Go, Slow, Whoa!” a multi-part series of programs to area children this summer!

Area children will learn the difference between healthy “Go Foods” and the not-so-healthy “Whoa! Foods” and everything in between. Each presentation will include a fun physical activity and something all children can really “GO” for, a healthy snack.

Area Kindergarteners – 2nd graders will meet on Tuesdays:  July 5th and July 12th at 11:00 AM.  Area 3rd – 5th graders will meet on Mondays: July 18th and July 25th.

The Marianna Black Library will be offering a variety of programs, giveaways, and contest all summer, so pick up a list of events and drop in as often as possible. The library is located in Downtown Bryson City at the corner of Academy and Rector.  For more information or driving directions call the library at (828) 488-3030
