The Mariana Black Library, in Bryson City, continues its Summer Reading Program with “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read!” The 2016 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prizes and storytimes.
Next week we will have more great programs for you to RUN TO. On July 12th, at 11am, area kindergarten-2nd graders will learn the difference between healthy “Go Foods” and the not-so-healthy “Whoa! Foods” and everything in between. This program will include a fun physical activity and something all children can really “GO” for, a healthy snack!
Also, Ronald McDonald and his big red shoes will be visiting the Marianna Black Library on Thursday, July 14th, at 3:00 pm. He will bring magic, games and surprises for kids of all ages. Come enjoy his show about the magic of reading.
The Marianna Black Library will be offering a variety of programs, giveaways, and contest all summer, so pick up a list of events and drop in as often as possible. The library is located in Downtown Bryson City at the corner of Academy and Rector. For more information or driving directions call the library at (828) 488-3030.
