Robinson is a fifteen-year-old kid who lives with Martin, his abusive drug dealer foster father. Martin has a twenty-year-old stripper girlfriend, Keesha, who gets upset when he tries to pimp her out, so she and the kid escape. In the process, they steal a bag of cash from Martin and venture cross-country. When they break down midway, they meet Edwin and a new family that could turn their life around. Keesha eventually caves and calls Martin who shows up ready to cause trouble.
