Sylva-- On Saturday, August 26 at 3 PM, the Jackson County Public Library is hosting WCU School of Music faculty member Dr. Leonidas Lagrimas (piano) with "Musical Storytellers," a recital featuring solo and duet piano masterworks by Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Brahms, and more. Joining him on the program are three guest classical pianists from Western North Carolina. This program explores music's power to connect with audiences through the art of storytelling. Whether you are new to classical music or a lifelong fan, this program has something for everyone to enjoy and is appropriate for all ages. We hope that this event inspires audiences to discover more of this music for themselves. This program is in the Community Room and is free of charge.
