The Jackson County Public Library will host a free 90-minute Saving Money using Technology Workshop on Wednesday, July 6th at 5:45 PM.

Participants will discuss how to save money when purchasing a smart phone and/or a cell phone plan.  The workshop will include how to get and use free apps for your smart phone and/or computer. The major topic will be the internet and the many ways you can use it to save money. On-line buying and selling, making travel arrangements, free publications, home entertainment, and getting help with home or auto repairs will be some of the topics included. Roger Bacon, Lisa Bacon, and Laura Chapman will be instructors for this class.

The class is free but is limited to the first 16 people who register. To do so, or for more information, please call the Jackson County Public Library in Sylva at 586-2016. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.
