Grieving the Loss of a Loved One is a workshop designed to help those who have lost a spouse/partner, parent, sibling, child, or very close friend, or have helped others with such a loss. Dr. Ritchie will talk about ways to cope and work through multiple types of losses, how to respond to different stages of grieving, and how grief can lead to healing and wholeness. He will also address the meanings we apply to loss and death. He will present a model that helps attendees spprosch and learn from suffering, grief, guilt, and forgiveness; and utilize grieving to help them heal and experience wholeness. This event id free and open to the public.
