Sylva-- The Jackson County Public Library is partnering with Four Seasons and Pisgah Legal for a documentary and panel on end of life decisions. This workshop will meet on Tuesday, June 20 at 5:30 PM in the Community Room. All are welcome and the event is free of charge.

Talking about death and dying isn’t pleasant but ensures a person’s true priorities are known and honored. This two part program aims to make the conversation easier and help you determine what matters most. At 4pm, join us for a screening of the documentary Being Mortal which explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors who care for them. At 5:30pm, panelists from Four Seasons Care For Life and Pisgah Legal will discuss medical and legal directives and what they wish their clients knew. The public is welcome to attend one or both parts of the program.

For more information, please call the Jackson County Public Library in Sylva at 586-2016 or email at jcpl-adults@fontanalib.org. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.
