Put a team of architects and decorators together and join us in the community room to build a gingerbread house to display in the library! All participants will also be entered in a special holiday drawing. Please register your team by December 11 at the circulation desk or by calling us at (828) 743-0215. All bulding and decorating materials will be provided.
On Saturday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m., library staff members Paige and Michael will host an ornament making party. You'll be able to design and take home your very own ornament--all the materials you need will be provided! So come prepared to paint, paste, color, and let your holiday imagination run free! Join our Friends of the Library book club for discussions of engrossing and enlighting books, both fiction and the occassional non-fiction. Meetings are the secind Wednesday of the month, September - May. The February book is Tell Me Everything by Elizabeth Strout.
