NCWN Regional Representative Matt Salerno will host a monthly writing workshop at the Jackson County Public Library on Thursday, April 30th 26th at 6pm. This event is free and open to the public, not just members of the NC Writers' Network. The goal of these meetings is to provide a welcoming space for feedback on writing and to create a community of writers. Meetings typically take place on the last Thursday of the month from 6pm-7:30pm, but feel free to reach out to Matt at ncwn.jacksoncounty.rep@gmail.com with any questions.

The Piano Department of the Western Carolina University School of Music brings their annual Spring recital to the Jackson County Public Library on Saturday, April 18, at 3pm. The library's beautiful Community Room is one of the region's most beautiful venues for live music.
The program is free and appropriate for all ages. We are proud to showcase the talents of our student musicians and in a wide range of classical and popular selections. We hope you will join us for an afternoon of amazing music for piano!

The Jackson County Public Library will host the next Vaya Health meeting on Tuesday, April 28th at 1:30pm in the Conference Room.This training supports care providers in recognizing stress, understanding its impact, and developing practical self-care routines. Participants will explore how prioritizing their own well-being leads to more sustainable and effective care for others.
