On Saturday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m., the Plateau's own Laura Plush will host a bullet journaling get-together here at the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library. Everyone from beginning to experienced journal keepers are invited to attend. Enjoy learning about this fun journaling style as you make your plans for the New Year! Bring your own journal, and the library will provide stickers, washi tape, colored pens and pencils, and other journal decorating goodies. Come out to share tips and ideas, or simply have fun with fellow jornal keepers!
This program is free and open to the public, but space and materials are limited. Please call (828) 743-0215 or stop by the library's circulation desk to reserve your spot.
Join a welcoming group of people that understand what you are going through. We come together to offer each other support, resources, and a listening ear. The group is a safe place for judgement free discussion. Generally, 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Schedule changes are anounced monthly. For more info, contact Chris at christiejefferson22@yahoo.com or 772-473-1088
Each Wednesday of the month, digital navigators will host Tech Time drop-in program with the goal to assist attendees with basic smartphone, laptop, iPad and tablet skills. Tech Time sessions offer one-on-one help on any personal digital device. Tech Time is a chance for residents of all ages to bring their devices and ask any questions. Learn how to set up an email account, mute your cell phone, back up and store files. Those are just a few of the skills we teach patrons. For more information, call the Library at 828-743-0215.
