Please stop by the library from April 22-May 2 during library hours to view a selection of paintings by local artist Elena Kister. Elena came to Cashiers from Kyiv, Ukraine (at the beginning of the recent Russian invasion) to live with family. She has a classical European art education and also worked in art and design for most of her life in Ukraine and is continuing her art career here in the United States. Her skill as an artist is evident in all of her spellbinding paintings: her use of color and line brings her subjects to vivid life, and the uniqueness of her vision invites the viewer to see our world in new and exciting, yet contemplative, ways . We're very excited to finally host a full exhibition of Elena's work here at the library! Calling all teens! Come join us for Dungeons and Dragons, a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game. The library will host games every other Tuesday from 4-6 pm starting on January 21. Come along with us as we solve mysteries, slay dragons, and explore dungeons. All you need to bring is your character and your imagination!
