This will be a time to get up and dance, shake, and wiggle as we share stories, songs, and rhymes for kids of all ages, followed by a hands-on activity or craft!
Do you ever wonder what you can do with an old puzzle that is missing pieces? In this month’s Adult Craft Corner we will be creating colorful puzzle bowls using a balloon, Mod Podge and puzzle pieces. The small bowls can be used as a unique catch all for keys, candy or anything small. The class will be held in the Atrium at 5:30PM.
To register for the class call 586 2016 or email us at .jcpl-adults@fontanalib.org .
In this fun class, students will determine their ring size, measure and cut sterling silver wire, form the shape, and solder the seam closed. The process will include the use of several kinds of pliers and hammers to form the ring into a round shape and facet the ring. Then students will polish the ring using a Dremel tool. The finished ring will be shiny and best of all, the student made it themselves! Atrium *Registration Required*, call (828) 586-2016, or email JCPL-Adults@fontanalib.org to register. This program is made possible by a generous grant from the Jackson County Arts Council. The Jackson County Public Library is a member of the Fontana Regional Library.
