Are you Smarter than a Pigeon? STEM Challenge

Pigeons are known for not being the best nest builders in the bird world.  In this STEM Class at 10a.m. on July 2nd, children will be given supplies and challenged to create their own bird nest and out-do the silly pigeons.

NC Symphony Discovery Program at 10a.m.

The North Carolina Symphony’s Music Discovery program, funded by PNC Grow Up Great, is geared for preschool and elementary-age children and their families. The 30-minute program will feature NC Symphony bass trombonist Matt Neff reading a book about music, talking about his instrument and how other instruments make their sounds – plus more surprises!  
This program will be at 10a.m. and is being sponsored by the Arts Council of Macon County.
