The U.S. Small Business Administration granted Governor Roy Cooper’s request for a disaster declaration for small businesses that are suffering economic losses due to the new Coronavirus, COVID-19.

Beginning June 1, members of the public can make an appointment to visit any Fontana Regional Library location in Macon, Jackson, and Swain Counties starting June 8. Appointments are limited to 45 minutes each and can be made by phone up to one week in advance.
Curbside service to pickup reserved items will remain in place for those who prefer that option.
