As part of a summer series of music, the Marianna Black Library is proud to present “A Songcatcher’s Notebook: Traditional Music and Storytelling” with Lee Knight on Thursday, August 11th, at 7:00 PM. Weather permitting, this program will be presented on the front lawn of the library, otherwise it will be moved to the library auditorium.


Join us on Wednesday July 27th at 2:30pm, in the Hudson Library's Community Room, “Animal Tracks” with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
The Jackson County Public Library in Sylva is hosting a screening of the documentary The Sad & Beautiful World of Sparklehorse at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 28th, in the Community Room. There will be a Q&A after the feature led by Angela Faye Martin who wrote the movie. This program is free of charge.
